A handful of online commentators have already started making comparisons to Orlando Bloom's Legolas from Peter Jackson's?Lord of the Rings?film franchise — a stark comparison to the rough and tumble adaption of Geralt from the hugely popular videogame series.
Like it or not, though, the Netflix series is expected to arrive in 2019.
The Witcher?series of short stories and novels centres around monster hunter Geralt of Rivia and additional hunters named "witchers." The novels have spawned?graphic novels, board games, and?a 13-episode?television series in Poland, as well as the beloved videogame series.
